Thanks for posting these. I have been looking into voting by mail recently because of the coronavirus and because I live in California, where I vote by mail. It does seem like there are some opportunities for fraud in the system, although most seem to claim (not sure why?) that fraud is very low. Perhaps, due to the low number of cases that are detected. It might not hurt Republicans so much as the President thinks, because my guess is that older folks are going to be more likely to have their turnout suppressed by the virus and they tend to vote Republican. In California, we have so many ballot propositions to study and vote on that I find it easier to receive everything by mail and take my time to evaluate the propositions. My guess is that without mail voting, most would just show up unprepared on Election Day and vote without the benefit of information.
Thank you for your response. The problem with mail-in voting is that it provides more opportunity for fraudulent ballot harvesting. An uncorrupted voting system and a smooth transition of power are important to the survival of the republic.
